Halloween may still be a few months away, but Pokémon has started the celebration early with some awesome new merchandise from Pokémon Center’s 2024 Pokéween collection. The collection has a nice variety of different Halloween-themed items, from decorations to wearables. There is also a good range of different Pokémon represented, with some more obscure Pokémon like Greavard getting a chance to shine.
Unfortunately, things move fast when it comes to Pokémon merch, so some of the coolest items in the collection are already sold out. Anyone looking to get their hands on the remaining merch might want to do so sooner rather than later. While there are a lot of great items, some aren’t too different from what gets sold year-round. Most of the best Pokéween merch are the items that are unique to the season, though there are some exceptions.

The Gengar Plush Backpack Is Cute And Functional
A Gengar Plush Backpack Costs $34.99 From The Pokémon Center
Gengar is up there with Pikachu when it comes to Pokémon, who are frequently represented in merchandise. Just within the Pokéween collection, there are tons of Gengar-related items. While this would usually count against something like the Gengar Plush Backpack, since items like it are so common, this one is so cute it was hard not to include. Aside from being a good likeness of Gengar, the backpack is also functional, which makes paying $34.99 for it feel slightly more justifiable.
This plush backpack would be a perfect themed accessory for any Halloween outing. Though this might be less explicitly Halloween-themed than some of the other merch, that could be seen as a positive by some customers. Gengar is just a generally popular Pokémon, so this can also be worn any time of the year. Pokémon fans on a budget may appreciate an item that will be used more often than just in the fall.
A Gourgeist Metal Sign Costs $24.99 From the Pokémon Center
This metal sign featuring Gourgast and some other Pokémon exists on the exact opposite end of the spectrum of Halloween merch from the Gengar backpack. This item is specific to the Autumn season, and it features Pokémon like Gourgast and Pumpkaboo, who don’t get nearly as much love in Pokémon merchandise. This is the perfect kind of item that belongs in a Halloween collection, and it is perfect for any Pokémon fans hosting a party.
This sign is also a great way to greet trick-or-treaters. It’s cute and inviting, and guests will likely get a kick out of the pun. Many kids will also likely be excited to see a Pokémon sign, and what better reason is there to get a Halloween decoration than to make kids happy? There is also a similar sign featuring Gengar that reads “Enter if you dare,” but by the nature of including some more unique Pokémon and having a unique message, the Gourgast sign is the better option.

A Ceramic Snorlax Bowl Is Perfect For Holding Candy
A Snorlax Bowl Costs $44.99 From The Pokémon Center
Anyone looking for a fun way to hand out candy this Halloween should consider grabbing this ceramic Snorlax bowl. Though not strictly Halloween-themed on its own, this bowl is the perfect addition for anyone who is using other Pokémon decorations this Halloween. This bowl is also just hard to pass up for any major fans of Snorlax. It is perfectly shaped to be Snorlax’s head, and because it’s ceramic it will last a long time.
What’s nice about this Snorlax bowl is that it can be used for a lot more than just handing out candy once a year. It would also work well for serving snacks at a party or as a popcorn bowl. This makes the Snorlax bowl a nice middle ground in terms of Pokéween merch. It serves a specific Halloween-related function but can also be used at any time. Snorlax fans should make sure not to sleep on this one.

The Pumpkin Gengar Mug Screams Halloween
A Pumpkin Gengar Mug Costs $29.99 From The Pokémon Center
Few things are as emblematic of the Fall season as pumpkins, and what better way to drink a seasonal pumpkin spice drink than out of a Gengar-shaped pumpkin mug? While there is a standard Gengar mug as well, the pumpkin one is much more festive. It also comes with a removable lid, which is nice for both displaying the mug as part of a collection and keeping the contents of the mug warm and secure while moving around.
For anyone who works in an office, this is a fun way to show off their love for Pokémon while also celebrating Halloween. Alternatively, younger Pokémon fans can enjoy festive Fall drinks like warm apple cider straight from the likeness of a well-loved Pokémon. The mug looks nice and thick and is made out of a hard ceramic material, so it is likely durable and will last for a good amount of time.

The Fennekin Key Chain Is The Perfect Colors For Fall
A Fennekin Plush Key Chain Costs $15.99 From The Pokémon Center
In general, Fennekin is a Pokémon who could use more official plush releases, so any opportunity to grab one is exciting. Fennekin is an especially good Pokémon for a Fall seasonal plush, thanks to its natural orange and yellow coloring. This makes Fennekin a perfect match for typical Fall colors, as is demonstrated by the Fennekin Spooky Festival plush key chain. Fennekin’s bowtie and hat go nicely with its coloring, creating an overall very festive look.
As a key chain, fans will get more opportunities to show off this plush than they might normally. Of course, if collectors prefer to keep it in pristine condition, it will also look nice simply sitting alongside any of the other Spooky Festival plushes. This plush’s clasp is also large enough to hang it places besides key chains, and would be a great festive decoration to hang off a rearview mirror or on a backpack.

The Spooky Forest Stroll Figure Is The Perfect Halloween Decor
A Spooky Forest Stroll Figure Costs $64.99 From The Pokémon Center
The Pokéween collection includes several scenes featuring tiny figures of Pokémon in a festive situation. The best of these is the Spooky Forest Stroll figure, which depicts Pikachu and Sprigatito out for a walk in the woods. There is a lot to love about this figure, from Pikachu’s festive dress to its terrified expression and the all-around dynamic poses of the figures. It also has a Phanthump and Fennekin on the opposite side, so the display is fun to look at from any angle.
The figure is also the perfect color for a Fall-themed piece. The trees are bright yellow and orange, which match some of the Pokémon and the many pumpkins scattered around the scene. The jack-o-lanterns and lanterns in the scene also light up, giving the display a nice moody feeling. The lights also have a built-in timer, so there is no need to worry about manually switching them on and off each night.
4
Spooky Festival Pikachu Is Dressed For The Season
A Spooky Festival Pikachu Costs $24.99 From The Pokémon Center
Anyone could be forgiven if they were tired of Pikachu merchandise now that it has been the mascot for Pokémon for nearly 30 years. That said, it’s hard to pass up a cute, themed Pikachu, especially when executed well. The Spooky Festival Pikachu plush is one example of a well-done variation on a standard Pikachu that stands out even with Pikachu fatigue.
Spooky Festival Pikachu is perfectly dressed for Halloween with a denim jacket, orange pants reminiscent of a pumpkin, and the fall leaves on its hat. Another nice element is that, aside from the pumpkin bow tie, most of Pikachu’s garb could be just generic Fall attire. This means that this Pikachu could be a good decoration, not just up until Halloween, but all the way through Thanksgiving. This plush is a nice addition to any Pikachu fan’s collection, especially if they want a unique one for every season.

Liven Up The Lawn With An Eevee Yard Statue
An Eevee Yard Statue Costs $49.99 From The Pokémon Center
While many of the Pokéween collection items are for inside the home or are wearables/accessories, there are a few items that are good for decorating outside for Halloween. Perhaps the best option is the Enchanting Eevee yard statue, which shows the evolution Pokémon frolicking in a purple witch’s hat. If Pokémon fans want to go all out and get the complete yard statue collection, there is also a vampire Pikachu and a Gengar peeking out from behind a lamp post.
Another nice thing about the Eevee statue is that it isn’t that big, only about 12 by 14 inches. This means it could feasibly also be an indoor decoration for fans who don’t have a yard or want to keep Eevee in good condition without worrying about the weather. It’s worth noting that the Pokémon yard statues are hand-painted, so one should expect some variation from the advertised pictures, though likely nothing too drastic.
A Pokémon Halloween Metal Lantern Costs $49.99 From The Pokémon Center
The Pokémon Halloween metal lantern is easily one of the best decorations in the Pokéween collection for creating a spooky atmosphere. It also features some really fun designs on each of its faces. Pikachu and Gengar are to be expected, as two of the most often included Pokémon in merchandise, but the lantern also includes a design featuring Chandelure and Mismagius, two Pokémon perfect for Halloween. The Chandelure design is especially eye-catching as it’s silhouette blends well with the light, and the spooky house on the Mismagius design is very on-theme for the holiday.
There is one slight downside to the Pokémon metal lantern, which is that it is only for indoor use. This is a shame because these would have been perfect for hanging outside one’s door or on a porch. That said, they can still be used to create some moody lighting inside, and it pairs well with other light-up decorations like the Forest Stroll figure.

Drifblim Makes A Cute Plush And Has Spooky Lore
A Drifblim Key Chain Plush Costs $14.99 From The Pokémon Center
There is a lot to love about this Drifblim plush key chain. For one, Drifblim is a cute Pokémon with not too much merch for it, so this is a rare chance to snag one. The added Halloween accessories, like its little hat and Pikachu pumpkin basket, just add to its cuteness. Drifblim’s droopy elements are also a good shape for a dangling key chain, and as a balloon Pokémon it looks natural to hang Drifloon off something.
Drifblim also has sufficiently spooky lore for Halloween. It is implied in one of their Pokédex entries that, like its un-evolved form Drifloon, Drifblim does carry people away on occasion. This adds a bit of a dark twist to an otherwise adorable accessory.
It’s worth taking a look at the entire Pokéween collection. There is a wide range of items, and since subjective taste will play a large role in what fans like the most, it’s hard to know for sure what the best item is for an individual without going through the available items. Since this Pokémon merch does sell out, fans might not want to wait until October to get their hands on their favorite items.
